eVision Industry Software, market leading provider of electronic Control of Work software, has deployed Permit Vision at VTTI’s Amsterdam Terminal (ETA). Permit Vision is a leading Control of Work system which integrates permit to work software, risk assessment, isolations management processes, and external work order systems into a single user-friendly system.
This deployment marks the first step in the rollout of Permit Vision across all of VTTI’s terminals in the Netherlands. In line with their strategy of implementing upgrades and improvements to its processes, VTTI required a proven, best in class Control of Work system which can be used to effectively manage hazardous activities and to promote the elements of safety and simplicity of use.
The control of work system is to be implemented at VTTI’s Rotterdam terminal (ETT) next month. Prior to the implementation, both terminals used paper-based permit to work (PTW) systems. Operational and HSE Management selected eVision’s electronic PTW system to improve turnaround time and control of the work carried out. The ePTW system aims to improve overall safety and safety awareness of the crew and gives the operational management increased control and overview of all work carried out at the terminals.
