Permit Vision is now live on two VTTI terminals in The Netherlands

Implementation of Permit Vision gives ETT and ETA more control and increased safety awareness

The rollout of eVision’s Control of Work software on VTTI’s Dutch terminals has been completed with the go-live of Permit Vision at ETT in Rotterdam. As a result of the similar processes and uniform design of the software, training was done in conjunction with the Amsterdam terminal.

ETT is strategically located in the port of Rotterdam, one of the busiest ports in the world. It is capable of receiving VLCCs and many other oil tanker subclasses. The 28 tanks have a shared capacity of more than 1,118,000 m3. The direct connections to truck, rail and the NATO pipeline system mean ETT is a fast and high performance terminal.

As with the Amsterdam terminal, prior to the implementation, ETT used a paper-based Permit to Work system. VTTI wanted to improve turnaround time and increase the overall safety and safety awareness of the staff. With the go-live at ETT, Permit Vision gives Operational Management increased control and a real-time overview of all permit activities at both terminals.
