Digital Permit to Work System installed on Triton FPSO

The Dana Petroleum operated Triton Floating, Production, Storage and Offloading vessel (FPSO) is the third of the company’s producing assets to have the Permit Vision and Shift Vision system implemented. This follows recent installation on Dana’s De Ruyter and Hanze platforms in the Dutch North Sea last October.

Digital permit to work provides greater insight, standardization and control over operated assets. The solution combines risk assessment, isolation management and external work order systems into one Integrated Safe System of Work (ISSOW). Shift Vision is an operator logbook that increases operational effectiveness, as workers and management are easily informed of what is happening.

Triton is located approximately 200 km east of Aberdeen in the UK North Sea. Joint venture partners in Triton FPSO are Dana (51.966%), Shell UK (26.42%), Esso Exploration and Production UK Limited (20%) and Endeavour (1.614%).
