Total E&P NL selected eVision to implement digital Permit to Work and Shift Handover software across all of its offshore assets.
Total is the world’s fourth-largest oil and gas company and second-largest solar energy operator with SunPower. With operations in more than 130 countries, Total is a leading international oil and gas company. The company produces, refines and markets oil and manufacture petrochemicals. Total are also a major player in natural gas and rank second in solar energy with SunPower. Demonstrating their commitment to better energy, Total’s 100,000 employees help supply our customers around the world with safer, cleaner, more efficient and more innovative products that are accessible to as many people as possible. The company works alongside its stakeholders to ensure that their operations consistently deliver economic, social and environmental benefits.
TEPNL has been migrated from a paper-based Permit to Work system to the modern digital Permit Vision. With the new Permit Vision solution, TEPNL will have a more solid and robust PTW system due to enhancements in architecture, functionality and improved safety policies.
eVision and TEPNL have also implemented a digital logbook system in early 2009. Shift Vision is implemented for all TEPNL operators and maintenance personnel on-board all offshore installations and is also used by the Central Control Room in The Hague.
The logbook system is used to keep an electronic record of all activities during a shift. It streamlines communication and shift changeovers. The system also generates summarized day reports of all installations for higher management. The day reports are automatically structured according to company standards.
