eVision is proud to have been selected to present its innovative solution ‘Leveraging advanced GIS data in Control of Work solutions’ at the Esri Petroleum GIS Conference, which will be held on 12–13 April 2017 in Houston, Texas.
ESRI is the leading international supplier of geographic information system (GIS) software, web GIS and geodatabase management applications. Their ArcGIS software suite provides contextual tools for mapping and spatial reasoning, which allow users to explore data and share location-based insights.
Integrating Control of Work with GIS enables operators to position work locations on a plant, and provides a holistic overview of the permits, risks and isolations on assets. Metadata displayed on specific layers bolsters situational awareness and control of plant maintenance, as GIS replaces previously messy graphical overviews for up-to-date, detailed maps. This unique combination of processes leads to increased safety and understanding of daily maintenance, tangibly improving operations.
George Barry, one of eVision’s senior EHS Software Consultants with over 15 years of experience in complex operational systems, will deliver the presentation. You will also be able to find him at our exhibition.
