This year’s Annual Kingdom Process Safety Event in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia was co-hosted by eVision.
Mark Stam, VP Middle East Sales, introduced a variety of Subject Matter Experts who presented information on topics relating to the core process safety elements, whilst Mick Coleman, Control of Work Solutions Expert, delivered ‘Digitizing your Control of Work’. During his presentation, Mick demonstrated how incorporating eVision’s Control of Work solutions ensures that the effectiveness of key process safety steps is maintained by rigorously enforcing procedure, managing change, identifying and displaying potential conflict, and monitoring compromises in barrier management.
The large turnout that day consisted predominantly of CEOs, COOs, HSE Experts, Process Safety Engineers, and Operations and Maintenance personnel from GCC countries. They understand that an effective process safety management program requires a systematic approach to evaluating the whole chemical process. Using this approach, the process design, process technology, process changes, operational and maintenance activities and procedures, non-routine activities and procedures, emergency preparedness plans and procedures, training programs, and other elements that affect the process, are all considered in the evaluation.
