eVision Industry Software Permit Vision 7 is Certified as Powered by SAP NetWeaver®

The Hague, The Netherlands – November 15, 2016 – eVision Industry Software, a leader in Control of Work (CoW) solutions for hazardous industries, today announced that its integrated digital CoW system, Permit Vision 7, has achieved SAP certification as powered by the SAP NetWeaver® technology platform.

Leveraging information from multiple systems is of great importance to improving critical work processes. Information can be shared instantly, situational awareness is increased, and procedures become easier to understand and follow. From this perspective, integrating eVision’s Permit Vision with the SAP® ERP application via SAP NetWeaver on a fundamental level offers tangible process efficiency benefits. To this end, the SAP integration and Certification Center (SAP ICC) has certified that eVision’s add-on for electronic permit to work system “Permit Vision 7” is powered by SAP NetWeaver.

Solutions that are powered by SAP NetWeaver can be more quickly and easily integrated into SAP solution environments. Customers can benefit from improved interoperability with SAP applications and with the large ecosystem of solutions that run on SAP NetWeaver. Choosing an SAP-certified solution can also help reduce overall IT investment costs and risks.

“In our push towards operational excellence through digital integration, achieving SAP certification supports the continuation of our goal to offer fully digital, integrated ecosystems,” says Ralph Maroun, eVision’s Senior Technology Manager.

Deep integration between SAP ERP and Permit Vision 7 injects continuity and simplicity into the process of creating a work permit from a work order by allowing SAP ERP to pre-populate much of the relevant permit, planning and job process information on Permit Vision certificates. Instead of assessing and validating information from various systems, operators simply need to review the pre-prepared digital documents and run through the permit process. Closing the efficiency loop, permit status is sent back to SAP ERP, allowing planners to follow work execution in real time. “Making processes not only easier, but easier to understand, allows the workforce to get to work quicker with better information. Integration with SAP ERP supports both these concepts, and we’re excited to even further develop this technology,” says Maroun.

eVision has also become a member of the SAP PartnerEdge® program. Through this initiative, eVision will work closely with SAP to develop and certify various technical integrations of their solutions with SAP. Integrated partner applications extend, complement and add value to SAP solutions, helping mutual customers more successfully achieve their strategic objectives.
