In its Green Quadrant Operational Risk Management (ORM) Software 2019, independent research firm Verdantix recognizes both eVision Industry Software and Enablon as leaders across a broad set of critical factors.
Both eVision and Enablon received high scores on 16 of the 30 assessed capabilities, placing them in leading positions in Verdantix’ in-depth analysis. Particularly noteworthy scores include an unprecedented 100% score for eVision’s advanced visualization, and high praise for ecosystem integrations, dynamic barrier management, and for Enablon’s process safety management, platform design and user interface (another perfect score).
eVision was recently acquired by Wolters Kluwer to join forces with Enablon and expand its scope and scale across the hazardous industry value chain. “As two separate companies, eVision and Enablon were already at the top of their game in the Operational Risk Management space. Now, with Wolters Kluwer’s acquisition of eVision, Enablon and eVision will be able to jointly offer an even greater breadth of integrated software solutions”, says David Metcalfe, Verdantix’ CEO.
The report shows the clear benefits of platform thinking and indicates that data aggregation will be a strategic KPI for companies within hazardous industries for years to come. “We are proud of our leading position in the ORM study,” says Ton Geelen, eVision CCO. “It underlines our strength to integrating critical processes across the industry. It is good to see such strong interest in the Operational Risk Management space, and we look forward to increase collaboration within this domain.”
“It is an exciting time to be in this industry. Technology offers us the possibilities to transform the way risks are managed: from reporting to predicting and preventing incidents in real-time. Innovation is at the core of both our businesses. We will continue to leverage the latest digital trends such as advanced analytics and Artificial Intelligence to help our customers increase operational excellence, avoid environmental accidents and ensure the safety of their workforce,” says Chris Joseph, CEO of Enablon and eVision.
