What are your accountabilities?

As a Bid Manager within the eVision Bid Management team, your main priorities are to plan, organise and manage the bid process, as well as support decision-making for all bid projects. The Bid Managers collaborate with our Sales-, Legal-, Finance- and Project Management teams, ensuring the scope, approach and timelines are clear, reasonable and profitable, in order to translate commercial opportunities into winning contracts.

More specifically, your accountabilities will include:

  • Ensuring that involved teams have a clear understanding of the tender scope, objectives, required approach and timelines.
  • Formulating a feasible bid project plan (aligned with the bid team members) and attaining approval and acceptance. Updating the plan in line with tender requirements when necessary.
  • Coordinating, monitoring and driving the bid project including project planning, decision support and preparing/facilitating the Deal Pursuit Meeting in line with eVision’s project methodology.
  • Review and finalization of all response documents; final cross check of functionals & commercials, guaranteeing that all comments of team are incorporated in final response and obtaining formal sign-off on the final bid.
  • Evaluating and closing the bid process, identifying and analyzing lessons learned, archiving project documents, recommending improvements in the bid process and maintaining a first-class standard proposal document for bid responses.
  • Providing accurate bid status reporting and insights regarding quantitative and qualitative KPIs through periodical and ad-hoc reports and/or analyzes.
  • Acting as the owner and voice for all bid activities within eVision, providing specialist direction and focus for the Sales team.

What are we looking for in you?

Your experience, skills and qualifications ideally include:

  • Three to five years of relevant experience.
  • A relevant master’s degree.
  • Good communication and presentation skills. Capable of communicating precisely and effectively with internal stakeholders including cross-functional alignment.
  • A proven track record with guiding large global tenders and handle global prospects from a Sales Control perspective.
  • Project management skills to control and challenge internal stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with a pro-active approach on getting things done.
  • Ability to operate effectively across geographies•    
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy, a proactive mentality and ability to perform well under pressure.
  • Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written. Dutch is a plus.
